The recent Annual General Meeting of the Belgian Chamber of Commerce in South Africa marked another milestone in strengthening economic relations between Belgium and South Africa.
Held under the theme “Think Belgium, Act Local,” the gathering underscored the importance of translating international partnerships into tangible local impact.
A key highlight of the event was the Chamber’s continued growth, now standing at 156 members—an impressive 9% increase year-on-year. This upward trajectory reflects growing confidence in the Belgium–South Africa economic corridor, as well as the expanding opportunities for trade, investment, and collaboration across sectors.
