South Africa and Jordan are exploring opportunities to deepen bilateral trade and investment cooperation following a meeting between South African Ambassador to Jordan, H.E. Ms Tselane Mokuena, and the Chairman of the Amman Chamber of Commerce, Senator Khalil Mohammad El-Haj Tawfiq.
The engagement focused on identifying practical opportunities to strengthen economic and commercial relations between the two countries, with particular attention to expanding bilateral trade and investment.
The meeting forms part of ongoing efforts by the Embassy of the Republic of South Africa in Jordan to promote stronger economic relations and create greater opportunities for businesses from both countries.

The food showcase will take place during South African Heritage Month, adding a cultural dimension to the country’s economic and public diplomacy efforts in Jordan.

Adding to the significance of the upcoming event, South African Chef Ms Bathabile Sambo will showcase her culinary talent during the food tasting event.
Her participation will provide an opportunity to highlight South African cuisine and culinary traditions while introducing Jordanian consumers to the country’s rich food culture.
