Ambassador Anne Beathe Kristiansen of Norway paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Andre Nzapayeke of the Central African Republic, Dean of the Africa Group of Ambassadors.
The warm and constructive meeting underscored the strong partnership between Norway and the African diplomatic community. Ambassador Kristiansen and Dean Nzapayeke exchanged views on deepening bilateral and multilateral cooperation, with particular focus on sustainable development, climate action, peace and security, and economic partnerships across the continent.
As Dean of the Africa Group, Ambassador Nzapayeke plays a pivotal role in coordinating African diplomatic efforts in South Africa. The visit highlighted Norway’s commitment to engaging closely with African nations on shared global challenges and opportunities.
Both ambassadors expressed optimism about future collaboration and reaffirmed the importance of dialogue and mutual respect in advancing common interests.
