Kenyan High Commissioner Jane Ndurumo welcomed Daniel Salaton, Kenya Airways’ Cargo Commercial and Operations Manager for South Africa, for a key courtesy call at the Kenyan High Commission on March 3, 2026.
The discussions focused on leveraging Kenya Airways’ presence in South Africa to establish Nairobi as a leading continental cargo transit hub. Emphasis was placed on improving trade flows, strengthening air cargo infrastructure, and expanding commercial ties between the two economic powerhouses.
High Commissioner Ndurumo highlighted the mission’s dedication to initiatives that increase bilateral trade volumes and position Kenya as a vital logistics connector linking Southern Africa to global markets. “This partnership reflects our joint commitment to a more integrated African economy,” she noted.
