Ambassador Mxolisi Nkosi Meets German Foreign Minister Ahead of UN Security Council Elections
As part of South Africa’s diplomatic engagements in the lead-up to the election of Non-Permanent Members of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) for the 2027–2028 term, Ambassador Mxolisi Nkosi was honoured to hold a courtesy meeting with Dr. Johann Wadephul, Germany’s Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The meeting provided an opportunity for the two leaders to exchange views on key international and regional issues, while reaffirming the importance of strong bilateral relations between South Africa and Germany. Discussions also highlighted the value of multilateral cooperation in addressing global challenges and advancing peace, security and sustainable development.
