The High Commissioner of the United Republic of Tanzania to South Africa, James G. Bwana, welcomed Maria Gustava, the newly appointed High Commissioner of the Republic of Mozambique, at the Tanzanian High Commission in Pretoria.
The courtesy meeting marked an important step in reinforcing the longstanding diplomatic relations between Tanzania and Mozambique, two neighbouring countries with deep historical, political, and economic ties.
