South Africa and Cuba Reaffirm Commitment to Strong Bilateral Relations
JOHANNESBURG – His Excellency, Deputy President Paul Mashatile, on Friday, 05 June 2026, received a courtesy visit from His Excellency Mr Fakri Rodríguez Pinelo, Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to South Africa, in Johannesburg.
The meeting provided an opportunity for both leaders to reaffirm the longstanding and historic friendship between South Africa and Cuba, a relationship built on decades of solidarity, cooperation, and mutual respect.
