South African Ambassador to Mali, Patience Masisi, and Mr. Dramane Souaré, Founder of Africa Youth Time, were received on February 11, 2026, by the Minister of Malians Established Abroad and African Integration.
The cordial meeting centred on promoting cultural integration between Mali and South Africa, highlighting shared African heritage and mutual understanding. Discussions also focused on the Ministry’s active participation in the upcoming Mali & South Africa Day event, set for February 13, 2026, at the iconic Modibo Keita Memorial in Bamako.
This initiative aims to foster people-to-people connections through cultural exchanges, youth engagement, and collaborative activities. Ambassador Masisi emphasized the event’s role in reinforcing diplomatic ties, while Mr. Souaré underscored youth involvement in building stronger Afro-centric partnerships.
