South Africa’s Ambassador to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, H.E. Ambassador Tselane Mokuena, recently visited SOS Children’s Villages Jordan, where she gained insight into the organisation’s programmes and initiatives supporting children, young people and families across the country.
The visit provided an opportunity for the Ambassador to learn more about the work of SOS Children’s Villages Jordan and its efforts to create safe, supportive and nurturing environments for children and young people.
During her visit, Ambassador Mokuena explored the organisation’s programmes and engaged with representatives about its work and its broader contribution to supporting families and vulnerable communities in Jordan.

Ambassador Mokuena was welcomed by senior representatives of SOS Children’s Villages Jordan, including Mrs. Rana Alzoubi, National Director; Dr. Zeina Alkaraki, Director of SOS Children’s Village Amman; and Ms. Areej Alkhateeb, Fundraising and Communications Director.
The engagement highlighted the importance of partnerships and dialogue between diplomatic representatives and organisations working to improve the lives of children and families.
