Benjamin Anani Quashie hosted executives from the Johannesburg Branch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) during a courtesy visit at the Ghana High Commission Chancery in Pretoria. NDC Johannesburg Pledges Support for Ghana’s Reset Agenda
During the meeting, the NDC Johannesburg leadership formally pledged its support for the Government of Ghana’s Reset Agenda Programme—an initiative aimed at addressing socio-economic challenges and driving national transformation. The delegation emphasized its commitment to aligning diaspora activities with the broader development vision of Ghana.
In response, High Commissioner Quashie expressed appreciation for the visit and acknowledged the importance of diaspora engagement in advancing Ghana’s policy objectives. He highlighted several social intervention programmes currently being implemented by the government to address the needs and concerns of citizens.
The High Commissioner also encouraged members of the NDC Johannesburg Branch to continue conducting themselves as law-abiding residents in South Africa, underscoring the importance of maintaining Ghana’s positive image abroad.
