Minister in The Presidency, Khumbudzo Ntshavheni, has concluded a strategic working visit to Malawi aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between the two sister nations. The visit underscores South Africa’s continued commitment to fostering mutually beneficial partnerships across the African continent.

During her visit, Minister Ntshavheni engaged in high-level discussions with her Malawian counterpart, Peter Mukhito, focusing on key areas of cooperation, particularly within the security and governance sectors. The discussions explored shared priorities and opportunities for collaboration that will enhance regional stability, economic growth, and institutional cooperation.

The engagement reflects a broader effort by both South Africa and Malawi to deepen diplomatic ties while addressing common challenges. In addition to her ministerial engagements, Minister Ntshavheni also held a briefing session with South Africa’s High Commissioner to Malawi, Mavivi Myakayaka Manzini. The briefing provided an opportunity to align diplomatic priorities, assess ongoing bilateral programmes, and reinforce South Africa’s diplomatic presence in Malawi.
