Ambassadors Strengthen Ties in Pretoria Courtesy Call
Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to South Africa, Faisal bin Falah Al-Harbi, hosted a courtesy visit from Sudan’s Ambassador Osman Abufatima Adam Mohammed at the Saudi Embassy in Pretoria on 21 January.
The meeting provided an opportunity for the two diplomats to exchange views on a range of matters of mutual interest, amid ongoing regional developments in the Horn of Africa and Red Sea security. With Saudi Arabia actively supporting Sudan’s transitional authorities through diplomatic and coordination efforts—including the recent reconstitution of the Supreme Council for Strategic Cooperation—the discussion underscored the importance of bilateral relations.
Both ambassadors reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing cooperation in areas of shared concern, including peace efforts and economic ties. The visit reflects the growing diplomatic engagement between the two nations in South Africa, a key African hub for international relations.
